Previously, as Founder, Chairman & CEO of TBM Consulting Group, Inc., Anand Sharma consulted for large and medium-sized enterprises worldwide for over 23 years. In this capacity he helped clients achieve superior top line and bottom line growth by doing more with less and motivating all stakeholders.

In 2010 Anand joined the Board of Vermeer Corporation based in Pella, Iowa, and also serves on its Governance Committee. Starting January 2012 he joined the Board of WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG based in Klinginberg, Germany. In 2012, Anand joined the Board of Visitors of The Duke Medical System. In 2013, Anand Launched South East Asia Leadership Academy (SEALA) and became the Founding Board Member. He is also on the Board of Global Network Foundation (GNF) based in Atlanta.

Prior to founding TBM Anand had more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing management. He held a number of staff positions at American Standard before becoming vice president of operations for one of its leading operating divisions. Immediately prior to establishing TBM Consulting Group, he was executive vice president at Productivity Inc. where he led the firm’s consulting and training practices.

  • FORTUNE magazine named Anand Sharma a Hero of U.S. Manufacturing in 2001.
  • The Society of Manufacturing Engineers awarded the Donald Burnham Manufacturing Management Award to Anand in 2002.

Anand has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston University and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Roorkree University in India. His ongoing education included advanced management studies at the Wharton School of Management and many of the management seminars conducted by the leading thinkers of our time.
